Bachelor Program

You have chosen or are about to choose for a profession in which you will in the future help other people with health issues. This is an excellent start for applying Daoist principles in your studies and your daily life.
In our bachelor program you will learn what you learn elsewhere in Chinese Medicines, but there is more.
In our studies we take the Daoist principle of self cultivation as a root. Through qigong and other movement exercises you will start to create your own database of experiential knowledge about body and mind. The accompanying theory will give you the tools to store the facts on the “right shelve” so to speak, to create an image of the Chinese Daoist vision on body, functions of the body, the mind and the interaction between the two.
There are more advantages and extra’s in our bachelor program which you won’t find elsewhere.

• The structure of the study is in modules, so you can make your own sequence and study-pace which fits your schedule and possibilities.
• The BA program contains a number of modules which will give you immediate job-chances in this field.
• Apart from learning to be of help to your fellow human being, the exercises give a boost to your own mental and physical health.
• The spiritual and ethical development necessary in any caring profession is embedded in the courses.
• You are led into the world of scientific thinking with anthropological, sociological and health-studies.
• We provide a wide variety of extra study-possibilities, in your sphere of interest.
• If you live abroad it is possible to follow this program, in which case attendance for two or three months per year will suffice. This can also be taken done elsewhere, in one of our other departments (China, Mexico, Kenya)
• We offer a loan, for which you can take two years to pay back, for those who cannot afford paying the whole sum at once.
